据悉，目前标准化托盘的使用率，澳大利亚为95％，美国为55％，欧洲为70％，日本为35％，韩国约为27％。在美国、日本，托盘是一个巨大的产业，政府为推进物流标准化、提高托盘的利用率，相继出台了多项鼓励政策和优惠措施。

It is reported that the current utilization rate of standardized pallets is 95% in Australia, 55% in the United States, 70% in Europe, 35% in Japan and about 27% in South Korea. 对应于新的国际标准，我国托盘标准的修订工作尚未进行。但修订原则已经有了：，没有必要提出上述IS06种以外的规格；第二，我国也不宜同时推行6种规格，而应根据国情确定推行的，选定1～2种规格作为推行的标准，逐步加大标准托盘的使用比重。目前物流界对我国托盘标准选用有两种不同的主张：一种是主“长”派，主张我国选用1200mm×1000mm长方形托盘国际标准；另一种是主“正”派，主张我国选用1100mm×1100mm正方形托盘国际标准。
